Shahnaz Begum and her husband have one son and one daughter. They lost their income source with the cyclone SIDR destroyed their vegetable farm in 2009.
Soon after she discovered “Fael Khair Program” and she immediately enrolled. She used the loan to purchase a cow and a calf. Shahanaz Begum sold the cow’s milk in the local market. She used the money to rebuild her house and purchase more cows. Now she and her husband owns a cow milking business that is supporting the family needs

Mr. Kokon Expands His Tailoring Business

Mr. Kokon is a tailor of Laxmonkathi village who supports his wife and son.

Mr. Kokon was forced out of business when cyclone SIDR destroyed his home, his weaving machine and his stock.

But he soon discovered “Fael Khair Program” and enrolled immediately. Mr. Kokon used the loan to fix his weaving machine and purchasing materials to get back to business. Soon after more than 12 hours of daily hard work his products were filling local markets.

Now the business is thriving. There is even plans to get hire more tailors to expand even further. His family is living well, and his son is back to school.

Salma Begum Starts Cow Milking Business

Salma begum and her family (son and daughter) were left homeless after cyclone SIDR destroyed their home in Gota Para village in 2009. Soon after she was told about the “Fael Khair Program”. She registered in the program and got her first loan.

She purchased a pregnant cow and began a milk business. Soon the cow gave birth to a calf. With 2 to 3kg of milk per day Salma Begum was able to return the loan and even purchase 3 more cows.

Now she makes BDT 150,000-200,000 each year. Her project is a success and her family’s future is secured.

Nilufa Begum Plants Vegetables

Nilufa Begum from Gog village was struggling to support her family with her husband’s small income. But then she heared about “Fael Khair Program”. She enrolled and got her loan.
Nilufa Begum used the loan lease a farm and plant vegetables. She made profit by selling vegetable in the local market.

Now with different types of vegetable each month Nilufa Begum is living happily with her husband, kids, Father in Law and Mother in Law.

Raju Ahmed Works on a Rickshaw

Raju Ahmed used the loan to purchase a Rickshaw. Pulling the rickshaw, Raju Ahmed started making profit. Later he sold the rickshaw and purchased a motor driven rickshaw. Running the rickshaw Raju Ahmed has increased his family’s income. Now Raju Ahmed is happy with his wife, kids, Father and Mother.

Morzina Begum Starts Sweet Business

Morzina Begum from Gog village was struggling to support her family with her husband’s small income. But then she heared about “Fael Khair Program”. She enrolled and got her loan.
Morzina Begum started making Danadar (sweets) to increase her family’s income. Selling sweets she gained much profit . Now Morzina Begum is happy with her husband, kids, Father in Law and Mother in Law.

Feroza Begum Poultry Farm

Feroza begum and her family (Husband and 3 kids) were struggling with their Poultry farm. They had 100 birds, but they could barley feed them along with their family. But then they found about “Fael Khair Program”. They used the loan to purchase another 300 chicks. After 2 months they were able to return the loan and make profits.
Now Feroza Begum has more than 2,000 chicks. Her son is studying in Malaysia and her daughters are back to school. She is even working on expanding her farm to hire 8-10 jobless persons to help her.

Himala’s Begum Milk Business

Himala Begum and her husband Mr. Mozaffor from Mukkhait village were struggling after cyclone SIDR smashed her husband’s grocery shop in 2009. but then they they found about “Fael Khair Program”. They used the loan to purchase a pregnant cow.

After 2 months the cow breeded a calf. With 2 to 3kg of milk per day they were able to return the loan and even purchase 4 more cows.

Now she makes BDT 150,000-200,000 each year. Her project is a success and her family’s future is secured. Their son is studying engineering

Mr. Mizan recovers his Losses

Mr. Mizan Sarder lost his farm when the cyclone SIDR hit his village in 2007. He could not support his family (1 son and 1 daughter). Some days passed when they only ate 1 meal the whole day.

Later he heard about the “Fael Khair Program” and he immediacy enrolled. Mr. Mizan invested the loan money to purchase a Power Tiller. He utilized the Power Tiller for land cultivation and he fully involved with land ploughing with Power Tiller in the project area on hire basis. He was lucky enough that he got many orders for ploughing lands by other farmers.

Mr. Mizan was able to return the loan, repair his house and support his family. His children are back to school.

Mansura Begum Poultry Breeding Business

Mansura Begum and her husband Rafiqul from Kalikapur village have four kids and Rafiqul’s mother in their family.
Due to lack of fund they were not being able to run their farm properly. That time they found about “Fael Khair Program”. Mansura Immeditly enrolled in the Rehabilitation Program and recieved a loan of BDT 20,000 to grow their farm.
Now the farm is a success story with 300 chicks and a monthly earning of 10,000 to 12,000.
